John A. Murrell is a Criminal Dentist

Section 1: Greedy, incompetent and sadistic dentists defraud and inflict grave harm on patients with impunity and in secrecy/cover ups, it happened to me and it happens to countless numbers of trusting Americans every day.

Herein, I overview how 2 sadistic, dishonest and criminally incompetent prosthodontists, who fraudulently claim superiority over general dentists, a Robert McNeil Poteat, who has ARREST and CRIMINAL COURT RECORDS, located at 1061 Bullard Court and a John Abbott Murrell, located at 2605 Blue Ridge Rd, #310, in Raleigh, N.C., acted with a malicious intent and a reckless disregard for my safety, health and life when they destroyed my healthy and consistent bite and jaw alignment by intentionally inflicting a life-threatening and torturous malocclusion injury and TMJ disorder upon me. 

Before Robert Poteat and John Murrell intentionally destroyed my healthy and consistent bite/jaw alignment, I was an ACE certified personal trainer who was in perfect health and perfect condition and had always trusted health care providers. 

In Section 2, I overview how Robert Poteat and John Murrell conspired to inflict this torturous injury upon me, which John Murrell accomplished when he intentionally dislocated my left jaw from it's socket, after which these 2 dentists then conspired to medically torture me, physically and emotionally.  John Murrell lied/deceived me about my horrific pain that began after he dislocated my left jaw; he said it was hormonal that is was permanent damage, fibromyalgia, etc.  These 2 dentists forced/left me to suffer, they left me to die from the injuries they inflicted on me.

In my medical records Mr. Murrell admits he and Mr. Poteat were illegally talking about me at the same time Mr. Murrell was inflicting horrific TMJ injuries on me.  Whereas before Mr. Poteat called him, Mr. Murrell was helping me, he said the ill-fitting temporary Mr. Poteat made was too high, too big, that it did not fit into my lower teeth that this was causing my pain, etc. and this is the reason Mr. Murrell spent over an hour driliing/reshaping this temporary and did another adjustment a week later. 

Because I was now Mr. Murrell's patient, when Mr. Poteat illegally called Mr. Murrell to find out if I was his patient, Mr. Murrell knows he had a legal duty/obligation to me NOT to disclose to Mr. Poteat I was his patient and Mr. Murrell also knows he is legally prohibted from discussing me with Mr. Poteat in any manner without my written permission, period!  

My medical records also prove during this phone call that Robert McNeil Poteat instructed John Abbott Murrell to inflict grave harm and injuries on me in order to cover-up the facts of Robert Poteat maliciously and violently physically abusing me.  Thus, again, John Murrell knows he has a legal duty/obligation to me/his patient, to protect me from Robert Poteat and he also knows he is legally prohibited from criminally assaulting me as he was instructed by Robert Poteat, period!  John Murrell also knows he has a legal duty/obligation to me to call the Sheriff/Police and report that his colleague/friend, Robert Poteat instructed him to criminally assault me, period!

Instead, Mr. Murrell recklessly violated his oath, to do no harm and acted as Mr. Poteat's obedient toady when he violated my HIPPA Rights and then conspired with Mr. Poteat to inflict grave injuries and criminally assault me, his female patient.

The acts by these dentists constitutes a hit job;  Robert Poteat, who has ARREST AND CRIMINAL COURT RECORDS, with criminal intent violated my federally protected HIPPA Rights with the sole purpose to solicit/conspire with a colleague, his friend, John Murrell to inflict grave injuries on me/Murrell's unsuspecting and trusting patient, which John Murrell did with malice. Then to ensure the injuries he inflilcted became devastating, John Murrell physically and emotionally tortured me.

John Murrell and Robert Poteat, who has ARREST AND CRIMINAL COURT RECORDS, will be held legally accountable, criminally and financially for assaulting and then torturing me because dentists/health care providers are NOT above the law. These dentists conspiring to injure and then torture me are capital crimes that are treated and penalized worse than murder. 

To cover-up their acts of intentionally destroying my healthy and consistent bite and jaw alignment, these 2 dentists lied and deceived me about the grave injuries they inflicted on me.  They also covered-up how they forced me to suffer with these injuries for months to ensure the damages they inflicted became devastating and life-threatening.  In addition to witnesses to these injuries, John Murrell admitted in my medical records that he was conspiring with Robert Poteat.

As my pain escalated, Mr. Murrell continued to tell me he was the bite expert, so I had to trust him and said my condition was hormonal, that I had permanent nerve damage, fibromyalgia and that I would always have this pain. He also said he had many female patients with this same problem who came to his office after hours for treatment and that this problem only affected women.  I now know, exactly like he did to me, Mr. Murrell also intentionally inflicted this horrific dentist caused injury upon these patients.  Mr. Murrell deceiving me about the causes of my pain that he created, his refusal to relieve this pain and forcing me to suffer, are sadistic, malicious, cruel and constitute medical torture.

John Murrell’s assistant also witnessed the torturous state he kept me and how he left me in pain and refused to help me.  In front of me, Mr. Murrell told his assistant that my pain was all in my head and told her to ignore me, which is when she wrote a note telling him I was in extreme pain, that she felt bad for me and that she wanted to help me and I have this note.  Her note proves with extreme malice, Mr. Murrell intentionally left/he forced me to suffer with the grave malocclusion injury and TMJ disorder he inflicted upon me and his sadistic, malicious, cruel and criminal actions constitute medical torture. 

Prosthodontists must complete additional training in crown and bridge work, after which they boast to consumers how they "speciaize" and are superior to general dentists in this field.  Therefore, I should NEVER have been subjected to being harmed by 2 of these "specialists".  As a patient, I have legal rights that include NEVER being criminally assaulted by Robert Poteat and John Murrell, who both took an oath, which is a legal promise, to do NO harm to patients.  Dentists are ALWAYS legally prohibited from EVER harming and injuring patients, and when they do, it is a crime. 

Robert McNeil Poteat and John Abbott Murrell inflicting a TMJ disorder on me are vicious and premeditated crimes and I have a TMJ expert who documented that my malocclusion and TMJ disorder are secondary to/they were caused by Mr. Murrell's harmful/ill-fitting bridge, along with medical records, dental records, documents, witnesses, which all prove these 2 "prosthodontists, who are specialists in crown and bridge work", intentionally harmed me. 

Neither Robert Poteat nor John Murrell should have been given a dental license because this medical license put them in a postion of trust, which enabled them to take advantage of me and emboldened Mr. Murrell to intentionally dislocate my left jaw from it's socket and then medically torture me.  Mr. Murrell knows everything I state is TRUE, which is the reason he cannot take any legal actions to remove my website.  He is also desperately trying to counter the truth of his criminal acts and gross incompetency by LYING to the public about his education, knowledge, skills and also trying to cover-up how he and his friend, Robert Poteat criminally assaulted and then medically tortured me. Their sadistic acts almost killed me.  

Because Mr. Poteat and Mr. Murrell know everything I state is TRUE and proven with evidence, they are illegally tampering with my site by paying a dishonest "reputation management company" to prevent consumers from reading about the grave harm they intentionally inflicted upon me.  They are also deceiving the public by writing fake/phony self-promoting "reviews/ads" for themselves and dishonestly use others to write fake/phony reviews that were concocted/posted AFTER my website was online.  These fake reviews always falsely claim, "how they care, etc." on sites that do NOT verify their reviews.

There is only 1 true review between these 2 dentists, which is where a patient details how Robert Poteat harmed him and then kept his $20,000.00 for 8 crowns that broke, etc., which = $2,500 per "crown" for his substandard and harmful dental work.  THEREFORE, ALWAYS put you and your family's health and safety first, DO NOT put your life at risk with either Robert M. Poteat or John A. Murrell, there are many other dentists to chose who do NOT have a history of harming patients.

Mr. Murrell told me that for 20 years he had a "thriving" practice in Santa Monica, CA and how he closed up his practice and moved 2500 miles cross country to Raleigh N.C. with its hurricanes, the HUGE flying roaches and HOT and horribly HUMID weather to start all over from scratch and this is a LIE.  Mr. Murrell cowardly ran away from Santa Monica, CA. to Raleigh, N.C. to get away from his history of intentionally harming, injuring and abusing female patients, just like he did to me.

Our federal government has classified TMJ disorders, also called TMD, to be a disability and it has been estimated that over 30 million people suffer with a disabling TMJ disorder.   And the #1 CAUSE of patients being inflicted with a malocclusion, a TMJ disorder, is from too large and or too high, ill-fitting dental work by people who should NEVER be dentists.  Teeth that meet correctly and proper jaw alignment are vital components of your overall dental health,  A TMJ disorder occurs when your teeth are pushed out of their proper alignment because this unbalances your bite and unbalances and misaligns your jaw and this is EXACTLY what Robert Poteat and John Murrell did to me.  In Section 2, I present an overview of how these 2 "health care providers" intentionally destroyed my healthy and consistent bite and jaw alignment. 

A dentist in Virginia Beach stated, “Dental school only educates a dentist to gain the “MINIMUM” level of competency to pass the dental boards”. The definition of minimum is:  BARELY ADEQUATE and this despicable secret has been hidden from the public because from childhood we have been taught to inherently trust dentists.  Educating dentists to only gain the minimum level of competency is the reason I was gravely injured by 2 of these minimally competent dentists and this compelled me to create this site where I share my personal dental nightmare how Robert McNeil Poteat and John Abbott Murrell almost killed me when they intentionally destroyed my healthy and consistent bite and jaw alignment.  To prevent anyone else from being harmed like me, I educate and warn consumers to be aware when we walk into a dentist office, our health, safety and life is at great risk of being gravely and fatally harmed by a minimally competent dentist, prosthodontist.  

Section 2:  A brief overview of how Robert McNeil Poteat and John Abbott Murrell intentionally harmed me.

Before Mr. Poteat and Mr. Murrell destroyed my consistent and healthy bite/jaw alignment, I was an ACE certified personal trainer in perfect health and perfect condition.   I never heard of something called a TMJ joint, a TMJ disorder or a malocclusion nor did I know there were sadistic and criminally incompetent dentists like Robert M. Poteat and John A. Murrell, who intentionally and gravely injure patients/me and that these dentists would destroy my health and life.  I also did not know dentists illegally violated patients’ HIPPA rights in order to cowardly protect themselves and each other and how they conspired to cover-up the grave injuries they intentionally inflict on patients that in my case almost killed me. Sections 3, 4 and 5 could prevent you from being harmed by a dishonest, incompetent dentist and save your health and life.  

When I called Robert Poteat’s office, I only needed a 3 unit bridge.  His assistant told me Mr. Poteat had many patients just like me, who had a bridge or crowns that were made by a general dentist that did not fit and because Mr. Poteat specialized in making bridges, he always fixed this by making a bridge that fit correctly.  I believed his assistant was telling me the truth and made an appointment.  When I met with Mr. Poteat he said the temporary in my mouth was just horrible and that he saw this kind of work from general dentists all the time and that he would make a bridge for me that fit correctly.  When Mr. Poteat removed this temporary, he threw it on the floor, he did not take impressions, he just squirted some white material in the bridge area and then made a new temporary bridge.  After the Novocain wore off, Mr. Poteat's bridge felt very uncomfortable because my teeth underneath it hit too heavy against it and this bridge also prevented my teeth from making contact on both sides of my mouth.  So I had to call Mr. Poteat's office and make an appointment for him to adjustment his temporary bridge. 

At this appointment I told Mr. Poteat that my teeth below his temporary were hitting too heavy and that my teeth could not make contact on both sides and this is when Mr. Poteat became enraged, he was psychotic and yelled at me insisting nothing was wrong with his bridge, that it fit just fine, that it was not his fault, etc.  He then took a metal tool and violently banged on his temporary so hard I thought he was going to break my teeth underneath and then angrily stomped out of the room to drill on it.  I was very shaken by his abusive behavior and was forced to stay there until he re-glued in his temporary.  When he returned he said nothing was wrong with his bridge that it was perfect, so if it still hit heavy, I should go to a doctor. I now went to a maxiofacial surgeon at Duke University and also an internist who examined my jaw, neck and spine and took x-rays. They documented that my jaw, neck and spine were normal and healthy and that nothing was wrong with me and I have these documents.  As a patient, I should NOT have been subjected to a Mr. Poteat and his violent and criminal actions.

Because Mr. Poteat’s acts of physical abuse and intimidation upon me are malicious, violent, a threat to my health and safety and are all criminal acts, I did not return to his office and made an appointment with a prosthodontist named John Murrell. I also called a lawyer who was very interested in my complaint until he asked the name of the dentist who abused me and when I said it was Robert Poteat, this lawyer told me, “Robert is a good friend of mine, so I cannot take your case because it would be a conflict of interest for me to represent you” and I have this lawyer's name.  

(After this lawyer said Mr. Poteat was his good friend, I was concerned he would call him and judging by the life-threatening injury Mr. Murrell inflicted upon me, this lawyer did just that, he called Mr. Poteat and told him to find the prosthodontist I was going to and tell them not to fix the problem Mr. Poteat caused and to continue to inflict grave injuries on me to cover-up Mr. Poteat’s abusive treatment of me because this is EXACTLY what Mr. Murrell did to me. For proof are my medical records, where Mr. Murrell admits he and Mr. Poteat were talking about me at the same time Mr. Murrell inflicted TMJ injuries on me. 

Please refer to paragraph 2 and 3 of my website, which are;  Mr. Murrell had a legal duty/obligation to me to protect me from Mr. Poteat and to call the Sheriff/Police and report that Mr. Poteat instructed him to harm me.  Instead, Mr. Murrell willfully chose to criminally violate my HIPPA Rights and then he criminally conspired with Mr. Poteat to inflict grave injuries upon me to cover up the facts of Mr. Poteat malicously and violently physically abusing me.  

When I went to my 1^st appointment with Mr. Murrell, I did NOT put Robert Poteat's name on the new patient forms because of his malicious behavior.  At this consult I told Mr. Murrell that my lower teeth hit too heavy against the temporary bridge above them and that my teeth could not make contact on both sides of my mouth and this began with this temporary bridge.

Mr. Murrell looked at the temporary bridge in my mouth and said I was having these problems because this bridge was too large, too high and that it did not fit into my lower teeth and that he was surprised a dentist could be so irresponsible to do this. He said the dentist who made this temporary knew better, but they were lazy and did not care and said  it would be easy to fix this.  Mr. Murrell told me he was “The Bite Expert” and how he was always successful at correcting this by changing the shape and making this temporary smaller.  He then spent over an HOUR drilling/reshaping Mr. Poteat’s temporary and this allowed my teeth to make contact on both sides of my mouth just like they did before Mr. Poteat's too large and ill-fitting temporary.  A week later, Mr. Murrell did more reshaping and told me to return in a month to prep me for a permanent bridge. 

(After my 2 appointments above, is when Mr. Poteat’s secretary called and demanded to know if I was going to another dentist.  My husband said she also called him at work and asked the same question, neither of us answered her unethical demand and hung up.  At this same time, in violation of my HIPPA rights and behind my back, Mr. Poteat hunted me down by illegally contacting the 7 other prosthodontists in Raleigh and this is how he found out I was going to Mr. Murrell.)  

During my appointment to make a permanent bridge, Mr. Murrell made a new temporary and told me to come back the following week to adjust it.  At this follow-up appointment Mr. Murrell drilled his temporary so short my bottom front teeth hit against my upper front teeth.  Then he added so much acrylic to his temporary that it prevented my teeth from meeting together and this forced me to pivot off his temporary.  Mr. Murrell told me this was normal and that I had to get used to it. 

After 6 days I felt my bite shift to my right side.  At this time, unbeknownst to me Mr. Murrell had intentionally/maliciously inflicted something on me called a malocclusion injury, a TMJ disorder that just destroyed my healthy and consistent bite/jaw alignment.   After this, I had to go to Mr. Murrell's office 16 times where my pain and symptoms exacerbated because now my teeth hit and banged against each other and this caused me to have teeth pain, face pain, jaw pain and tenderness, ear congestion, muffled and loss of hearing, my neck became very tight/stiff, shoulder tightness, upper back tightness and headaches and the preceding prevented me from turning my head.  All of these pain and symptoms prevented me from sleeping and caused me to have something called panic attacks.   

Mr. Murrell, who advertises to treat TMJ, had intentionally inflicted a horrific malocclusion, TMJ disorder upon me and then told me, “your pain is all in your head” and to call his friend a psychiatrist from India to whom he sent all his female patients who had “bite problems”.  I did not call his “friend” because my pain was very real and intentionally inflicted by Mr. Murrell to protect his other friend, Mr. Poteat, from being sued by me because he physically abused and intimidated me.

During these 16 visits, I begged Mr. Murrell to stop my teeth from hitting everywhere, but he just refused to do anything to stabilize my bite and said he was the bite expert and nothing was wrong with my bite and now said I had what he coined, “a bite that moved around”. Mr. Murrell said he had many female patients with this same problem who came to his office after hours for treatment and that this problem only affected women, so my bite was just fine and my pain was "all in my head." 

As my pain escalated, Mr. Murrell continued to tell me he was the bite expert, so I had to trust him and now told me my condition was hormonal, that I had permanent nerve damage, fibromyalgia and that I would always have this pain.  Mr. Murrell lying and deceiving me/his patient about the causes of the pain he intentionally inflicted on me and his refusal to relieve this pain and forcing me to suffer, are sadistic, malicious, cruel and medical torture and these are all criminal acts.  

My medical records right after Mr. Murrell, state my TMJ disorder, malocclusion, and pains and symptoms were all secondary to (caused by) Mr. Murrell’s 3 unit bridge.  Thus, John Abbott Murrell, who treats TMJ disorders, also saw this same malocclusion, TMJ disorder, he intentionally inflicted upon me to protect his friend and fellow dentist, Robert McNeil Poteat. 

While I was suffering in agonizing pain, Mr. Murrell went on vacation for 2 weeks and when he returned he said he had made something for me called a splint before he went on vacation, but he could not find this splint and said he would look for it and give it to me.  He never gave me this splint because he never made this splint and left me to suffer. John Murrell is pure evil.

Mr. Murrell now called Todd, my pharmacist and tried to get the names of all my health care providers.  Todd called me and said Mr. Murrell doing this was illegal and refused to give him this information, he then flagged my account and told his assistants not to give Mr. Murrell any information about me. I now asked Mr. Murrell if he had discussed me with anyone and he said no, that he would never do this because it was illegal unless I gave him written permission to discuss me.  I never gave him this written permission and my medical records show, thus prove Mr. Murrell was lying because in these records he admits he and Mr. Poteat were talking about me and it was at this same time Mr. Murrell inflicted a grave TMJ injury on me.

On my last visit to Mr. Murrell’s office, my husband told him I was in horrible pain and that he needed to refer me to a health care provider who could help me.  Mr. Murrell refused to refer me to anyone, telling us he was the best dentist in Raleigh and that he knew more than these dentists, that dentists were always coming to him for help with their patients, etc. so if he could not help me, then no one could help me and told us that my pain was permanent nerve damage and fibromyalgia and that I would just have to learn to live with it.  My medical records after Mr. Murrell prove him stating the preceding to us are lies and deceit and his cruel and cowardly actions caused me and my husband complete and utter hopelessness and despair.

John A. Murrell, a dentist, has a LEGAL, PROFESSIONAL and MORAL OBLIGATION to refer me, his patient, whom he gravely injured, to a health care provider who could help me and he refused to do because he did not want them to see the horrific injuries and subsequent pain he had intentionally inflicted upon me and me telling them how Mr. Murrell did this to me.  To cover up his criminal acts of gravely harming me and to protect Mr. Poteat, Mr. Murrell chose to keep me suffering, physically and emotionally and this is a violation of state and federal laws, all medical standards, standards of ethical conduct, core values, etc.  and are malicious, cruel, sadistic and medical torture. 

(A week before I flew out of North Carolina, I awoke in the middle of the night to a horrible NOISE that sounded like LOUD railroad crossing bells, which I soon realized was coming from my head.  William Shatner, Captain Kirk, has talked about his torturous ear ringing/tinnitus he said was caused by a loud explosion on a movie set and how it made him suicidal and I completely relate to his despair and hopelessness. He also said tinnitus is the #1 disability Americas’ veterans suffer with, and John A. Murrell, a "dentist" inflicted this horrific disability upon me to protect his friend and fellow dentist, Robert Poteat.)

I now knew I had to fly out of North Carolina to another state for medical help in order to find out exactly what Mr. Murrell and Mr. Poteat had done to me.  I went to an ENT and also a dentist/TMJ expert, both of whom told me my jaw was swinging to my right side and that this was occurring because I had something called a malocclusion, a TMJ disorder and that this was the cause of the loud ear ringing and the horrific panic attacks.

These doctors said this maloclusion and TMJ disorder were secondary to, CAUSED BY, Mr. Murrell’s ill-fitting 3 unit bridge that was in my mouth, which had pushed and unbalanced my bite/jaw out of their alignments and that this had dislocated my left jaw from its socket and was the cause of my jaw swinging to my right and how this put pressure on my ear drum and caused the loud ear ringing. 

An ENT and a dentist saw my left jaw was dislocated and swinging to my right and said I had a very serious TMJ disorder that was caused by Mr. Murrells bridge, therefore, Mr. Murrell, the self proclaimed “Bite Expert” definitely saw the same malocclusion, TMJ disorder he intentionally inflicted on me to protect Robert Poteat.  Mr. Murrell and Mr. Poteat’s criminal acts had turned me, a fitness trainer in perfect health with a wonderful husband and a great life, into a debilitated mass of agonizing pain and misery.

Mr. Murrell, a "prosthodontist" who claims to be "The Bite Expert", who took an oath to do NO HARM, intentionally dislocated my healthy left jaw in order to ruin my healthy and consistent bite and jaw alignment.  He then repeatedly lied and deceived me about the injuries he inflicted upon me, he refused to refer me to a health care provider who could help me and he took great pleasure in forcing me to suffer for months in torturous pain to ensure the damage he inflicted on me would be so devastating it would destroy my health and life.  John A. Murrell is a sadist and his acts upon me are the legal definition of medical torture, a crime. Sec. 4 are just some of the pains/symptoms TMD sufferers have to endure 24 hours a day.  

Section 3:  Dishonest Dentists Scamming and Harming patients for $$$Profits$$$ =  Fraud, a Racket.

There are honest dentists who reveal the rampant dishonesty in dentistry in websites where they state the LACK of ethics, competency and professionalism is ruining dentistry, that ethics and science are not taught in dental school when these 2 requirements are the cornerstones of all medical professions in the treatment of patients and this agrees with the dentist in Virginia Beach who stated that dentists are only educated to be minimally competent. 

These honest dentists expose the many ways your dentist is ripping you off and explain something they call “creative diagnosis”, which is when dentists lie, they CONJURE up diagnosis to sell unnecessary and expensive over-treatments such as crowns, implants, fillings, deep cleanings, etc. and how these unnecessary and over-treatments ruin your teeth and your health. These honest dentists state dentistry is ALL about MONEY, BIG PROFITS and that patients are just $$$ signs, we are cash cows to these dishonest and unethical dentists and the preceding is FRAUD, A RACKET.  Even Insurance companies state dishonest dentists have been operating under the radar far too long.  Read Section 5 below, which are the dental standards of ethical conduct and core values ALL dentists are legally obligated to follow at all times.

The medical oath all dentists must swear by, “ABOVE ALL, DO NO HARM”, legally obligates them to NEVER, EVER HARM THEIR PATIENT and  ALWAYS be truthful, they cannot lie, deceive and injure patients to protect their fellow dentist; along with the “code of dental conduct” mandating that dentists report dentists who harm patients.  The dentist/patient relationship is based on inherent trust and dishonest dentists shrewdly take advantage of this trust when they lie, deceive and conjure up phony diagnosis to sell unnecessary and expensive overtreatments to trusting and unsuspecting patients, read Section 5. 

An Attorney General, who now works in the Department of Justice and won a case where dentists were found criminally liable for harming, injuring and abusing patients for profits stated “Dentists are health care providers who take an oath to do no harm and that NOTHING is worse than a dentist taking advantage of patients’ trust and then harming them to profit.”

It is an International War Crime to torture enemy combatants therefore, it is a much worse crime when Mr. Murrell and Mr. Poteat conspired to inflict horrific injuries upon me and then medically tortured me to protect Mr. Poteat.  It is also a special circumstance crime when dentists use their medical training to inflict harm and torture patients/me to protect each other.

Section 4:  “TMJ, Biggest Medical Fraud in History and Dentistry’s Hottest Area of Out-and-Out Quackery”; dentists teach how to turn a debilitating medical condition, TMJ/TMD, into a money making racket.

In Feb. of 2009, it was stated in the New York Times, “TMJ, the Biggest Medical Fraud in History, just Ripe for an Investigation” and a past director of Scientific Affairs for the American Dental Association, ADA, described TMJ as “dentistry’s hottest area of unorthodoxy and out-and-out quackery” and here is the ADA confessing dentists who treat TMJ/TMD patients are out-and-out quacks who have turned treating patients with this debilitating condition into a money making RACKET and this is a CRIME.

This biggest medical fraud in history and dentistry’s hottest area of unorthodoxy and out-and-out quackery is “hotter” than ever and rages on with impunity because of the many BILLIONS of dollars it generates for dishonest and greedy dentists.  Dentists gleefully call the TMJ joint, “The Money Joint” and state “treating” TMJ is, “one way to increase, revitalize and inflation proof your practice”.  Dental journals praise treating TMJ, “as a sure way to inflation proof your practice and ensure a healthy financial retirement.”  Here are dentists teaching other dentists how to turn patients with a debilitating medical condition into their personal cash cow, their ATM machine, to ensure their healthy financial retirement.

The 30+ million people who suffer with a TMJ disorder are not cash cows for dishonest dentists; they are human beings with a debilitating medical condition. Therefore, dentists who treat this condition must ALWAYS ethically and honestly treat TMJ patients because exploiting/harming these patients to "inflation proof, etc., a dental practice", are cruel and sadistic crimes.  

People from all walks of life suffer with the pain and symptoms of a TMJ disorder.  In the 30+ million who suffer with this disorder, there are veterans, law enforcement professionals, lawyers, teachers, celebrities and many more.  The pain and symptoms from this disorder are classified as a disability by our federal government and just the constant high level of stress from the debilitating pain can kill the sufferer, which includes these patients committing suicide to escape their misery. 

The following is a list of just some of the pain and symptoms patients with a TMJ disorder are forced to suffer with 24 hours a day, every day:

1. Headaches, neck aches, severe pain in the jaw joint area

2. Tenderness or soreness of the jaw, popping, clicking.

3. Crackling sound in or near the ear, pain when opening or closing the mouth, locking of the jaw.

4.  Teeth sensitivity, teeth pain, soreness and tooth aches.

5.  Face pain, pain around the eyes, cheeks or temples, tenderness and swelling at the sides of the face.

6.  Ear ringing/tinnitus.

7. Cannot sleep, sleep disorders, dizziness, vertigo, tingling or burning sensations in the mouth tongue and throat.

8.  Hip pain, all over body pain, which is caused from the body’s symmetry being thrown out of alignment.

9.  And the above pain causes, severe depression, anxiety and panic attacks, digestive disorders and much more.

Section 5: Laws, regulations and rules all dentists are legally mandated to follow. 

According to The American Dental Association, ADA and the American College of Dentists, ACD, dentists are legally mandated to adhere to the following rules that are derived from Federal and State laws that prohibit doing the following to patients: defrauding, harming, injuring, abusing, selling unnecessary,defective or harmful products and/or services, over treating and exploiting patients, who are human beings, for personal gain and profit.  

Following states the specific conduct and values all dentists must adhere to in the treatment of patients, which emphasizes competency, honesty, honor, decency, respect, truth, integrity, compassion, etc.:

Standards of Ethical Conduct

1.  Dentists shall be dedicated to providing competent oral health services with compassion and respect for human dignity.

2.  Dentists shall be honest with patients and colleagues and report those who are incompetent or commit fraud/deception. 

3.  Dentist shall respect the rights of patients, colleagues, other health professional and society.

4.  Dentists shall continue to study, apply and seek truth in the advancement of scientific knowledge and to make relevant i         information available to patients, colleagues and society.

5.  Dentists shall possess personal and PROFESSIONAL INTEGRITY and act as TRUSTWORTHY citizens.

Core Values

1.  Beneficence - to always act in the patients’ best interest.           

2.  Compassion - relieving the pain and suffering of patients.         

3.  Competence - competence is the JUST expectation of patients’.

4.   Integrity - dentists are required to act with honor and decency.    

5.   Professionalism - dentists must always act in the best interest of their patient. 

6.   Veracity - honesty or truth telling is the bedrock of a trusting dentist/patient relationship.

Mr. Poteat and Mr. Murrell criminally violated ALL of the Standards of Ethical Conduct and Core Values, they violated federal laws. they violated state laws and they violated international laws. 

Laws, rules and regulations mandate that all dentists are ALWAYS legally obligated to put their patients’ best interest first and that dentists must never, ever, torture, defraud, harm, injure, abuse, exploit, etc. their patients.
